Instagram comedian, Pankeeroy explains why he was arrested by EFCC

• Pankeeroy speaks after release from EFCC custody

Instagram comedian, Nwagbo Oliver Chidera, popularly known as Pankeeroy has opened up on why he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) shortly after regaining freedom.

In April 2021, the EFCC arrested the comedian alongside 34 others for their alleged involvement in computer fraud.

Pankeeroy revealed that he was arrested based on information that he is a digital currency addict. However, his lawyers said he was released based on no evidence linking him to the crime.

He expressed his gratitude to the family and friends for their support. Adding that none of his properties were seized in the process.
