Injustice to one is injustice to all - Bisi Alimi demands justice for Bobrisky despite their feud
LGBTQ activist Bisi Alimi has taken to his social media page to call for justice for crossdresser, Bobrisky who is currently serving time in prison.
Recall that Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail for abusing the naira as he was caught spraying bundles of cash during an event.
His imprisonment caused a stir on social media, with many describing it as unfair and calling for his release.
Although Bisi Alimi and Bobrisky do not see eye to eye, the gay rights advocate used his platform to demand justice for the crossdresser.
He shared a photo of Bobrisky and captioned it; “Lest we forget - injustice to one is injustice to all.”
Reacting to his Instagram post, social media users applauded Bisi for defending Bobrisky despite their feud.
boudicca__london: I highly applaud you for advocating for Bobrisky. Despite the fact he didn’t use his platform to support the LGBTQ community rather he stayed mute and profited of controversies. You’ve done so much for the community than any Nigerian I know.
vanyprsp234: Even if she had never accepted to be queer neither has she ever presented herself as one of LGBTQ persons but you are still routing for her …God bless you BISI can’t wait to join ur academy and meet this wonderful soul in person ….#freebobrisky
ereluwasimi: I absolutely love this and so damn proud of you Bisi. This touched me. I love you
queen_oyindamola_: Your heart is so pure, even if you don’t always agree with his tactics you still stand for what is right! #freebobrisky
