UK-based Nigerian Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has weighed in on the stark contrasts between the Nigerian and British legal frameworks, claiming that wealth holds far more sway over justice in his home country than in the United Kingdom.

Speaking about his academic background and legal knowledge, the founder of the defunct Salvation Proclaimer Ministries International (SPAC Nation) revealed that he studied law in both Nigeria and Ghana to an advanced level, though he never officially qualified to practice.

"I know the law. I understand it... To the end of it. I just didn't practice it. I can't call myself a lawyer because I've not done all the tests for a lawyer, but yes, kind of. I know the law there, I know the law here," he said.

Pastor Tobi explained that while money often dictates legal outcomes in Nigeria, the UK system is far more rigid and difficult to bypass, requiring strict compliance rather than financial influence:

"The law here is tougher. But you know Nigeria, you can get around the law somehow. In Nigeria, money is the law. But here, with money you can't, you have to understand it," he added.

His comments come following intense scrutiny by the public over the years regarding SPAC Nation’s financial operations.
