'If you want DNA, pay for it' - Mohbad's wife

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo revealed that Omowunmi, the wife of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad has said that no one had contacted her about getting their son Liam a DNA test.

Iyabo reported that she spoke with Wunmi on Thursday, November 23 and disclosed that her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, has not contacted her or her attorneys to request that Liam be tested for DNA.

She claimed that because she lacked the funds, Wunmi had inquired as to who would cover the cost of the DNA test.

During an Instagram live, the actress, who spoke in Yoruba, claimed that Wunmi informed her that she is willing to have a DNA test done on Liam whenever she is called upon.

She said that Wunmi had said that both in Nigeria and outside, she would like the DNA test to be carried out.

Iyabo Ojo said: “I called Wunmi and asked about the DNA, and she said nobody had contacted her about it. Wunmi said she’s not against anyone wanting to do a DNA test, but will she be the one to pay for it? Because she’s not working, she’s just managing and taking care of her son. That the people asking for DNA should pay for it.”
