Grammy Award-winning singer Burna Boy has issued a stern warning to his colleague Speed Darlington to desist from misbehaving and speaking ill of him.

His caution comes after Speed Darlington was released from Kuje prison on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Speed Darlington was arrested based on a petition from Burna Boy, who accused him of having an inappropriate relationship with embattled United States rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as P. Diddy.

The singer, who was arrested in December, spent Christmas and New Year in the prison despite calls for his release.

Darlington’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, announced his release on his social media page, stating, “Speed Darlington is out of Kuje Prison.”

Burna Boy also took to his social media page to warn Speed Darlington against making such statements about him, threatening to have him sent back to prison with no mercy next time.

He wrote, “If you like misbehave again, you’ll go back to where you came from! And this time around, there will be no mercy! Don’t mess with the ODG.”

Since his release, Speed Darlington has yet to speak.
