Desola Afod, wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has stirred online conversations after reacting boldly to criticism surrounding a video she shared with Fuji musician Malaika.

The mother of four had posted a clip on her Instagram page showing a light-hearted moment with the singer.

However, the video caught the attention of a social media user who accused her of disrespecting her husband publicly.

The critic went as far as alleging that Desola was romantically involved with Malaika and advised her to keep such interactions private.

The comment read, “Embarrassing your husband in public is not fair. You’re dating him! Keep it private.”

Unfazed, Desola clapped back at the accusation, stating that relationships should only be hidden when one is ashamed of the person involved. She stressed that she had no plans to clarify or deny any rumours being spread about her.

In her words, “If it gets to your turn, hide it when you date better people. All of you will be disgraced. I won’t debunk anything,” adding, “Aura for aura.”

Her response has since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions from social media users. While many applauded her confidence and boldness, others continued to debate the situation.
