Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the Mirabel rape allegation, using the incident to call out what he describes as society’s quick tendency to dismiss or defend accused individuals without full evidence.

The debate follows Mirabel’s confession to activist VeryDarkMan, where she admitted that her earlier rape claim was fabricated.

Her admission triggered backlash across social media, especially toward public figures like Simi, who had earlier joined calls demanding accountability for rapists when the allegation first went viral.

Reacting to the fallout, Odumodublvck argued that even in cases where allegations turn out to be false, the rush to defend the accused or mock the accuser publicly can create a hostile environment for genuine victims.

The rapper wrote,
