Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said that if it weren’t for his wife, Chioma, he would not have considered getting married.

Speaking in a recent episode of The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido stated that his wedding was the happiest day of his life.

He explained that Chioma has been his girl for 12 years, so he thought it was right to marry her.

According to the ‘Stand Strong’ crooner, he was already famous before he met Chioma but wasn’t a big artiste.

“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met but I wasn’t big then.

“If it weren’t for her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point,” he said.

Recall that Davido and Chioma held a lavish traditional wedding ceremony on June 25, 2024, with family, friends and colleagues present.
