I would have supported Osinbajo as president - Peter Okoye's response to political tribalism

Peter Okoye, one-half of the famous music duo P-Square said he would have supported the candidacy of vice president, Yemi Osinbajo if he had won the presidential primaries of the party.

In a post on his Instagram page, Peter wrote: "If you think I am supporting Peter Obi because he is Igbo, try replacing him with Yemi Osibanjo against Orji Uzo Kalu and see if myself and Igbos won’t massively vote for Yemi Osibanjo."

The P-Square brothers have been vocal about their support for Peter Obi.

He used the opportunity to debunk the assertion that he is supporting the former Anambra governor because of his tribe.
