Popular Nigerian content creator and actor Broda Shaggi has made his return to social media months after surviving a gunshot incident in Ogun State.
The skit maker, born Samuel Perry, had been absent from his digital platforms since March 2026, following reports that he was shot while filming a project near the Sango Ota Bridge.
In an emotional video shared on his official Instagram page on Tuesday evening, the entertainer confirmed that the attack occurred on March 9, 2026.
Describing the ordeal as "a day in my life I wished never happened," the actor included footage showing him receiving emergency treatment at a medical facility with visible gunshot injuries.
The Lagos State Police Command had earlier confirmed that an investigation was initiated after the private hospital in Alakuko, where he was initially rushed for treatment, reported the gunshot case.
Broda Shaggi assured his followers that he will share full details regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting with the general public.
The update has triggered a wave of relief and supportive messages from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers across the Nigerian entertainment industry.
