I wish celebrities support instead of sympathizing – Do2dtun

Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, a well-known radio host and hype man, has criticized celebrities for sending condolences than working to support themselves.

Do2dtun bemoaned that celebrities were more energized when it comes to penning condolence messages than helping one another.

He wished the situation could be reversed or that same amount of effort could be put into both.

He tweeted: “If only we give the same energy we give condolences to supporting each other.. sigh!" “I am also guilty.. We will keep trying our best.”

This happens after reality TV personality and actor Rico Swavey passed away on Thursday morning following a car accident on Tuesday.

Following the news of his passing, celebrities paid respect to the late Rico while competing with one another.

When Rico was put on life support, his two coworkers and best friends, Tobi Bakre and Alex Unusual, raised money to pay for his mounting medical expenses.

Many criticized celebrities for putting others' needs ahead of their own in times of need and then flooding social media with tributes after the worst had occurred.
