Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk has disclosed how Yvonne Nelson's memoir harmed him after it was published.

The Kukere hitmaker claimed that the disclosures about him in the book were unexpected because he had spoken with her just before the book's release.

On Sunday, June 18, Father's Day was celebrated all around the world, and the Ghanaian actress published a memoir with the working title 'I Am Not Yvonne Nelson'.

The book, which is being offered on Amazon for 35 dollars which is equivalent to N26,900 revealed a lot about Yvonne's life.

Yvonne Nelson also talked about her failed romance with Iyanya in addition to her allegations regarding Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.

She remarked that while they were dating, the singer had a covert relationship with Tonto Dikeh.

Iyanya and other online users, including the actress who also doubles as a businessman, responded to the discoveries in the book while the actress revealed information on the length and intensity of the relationships described in her book.

Iyanya is still upset that he was included in the book without his knowledge weeks after it was published and the hype it generated.

He stated in an interview on Starr FM that the actress should have warned him before the event even if he is fine with her.

The singer admitted that Yvonne requested a video from him to support the book but neglected to let him know that he was prominently featured in it.

He said: "I was hurt. I won't lie to you. She called that she was launching a book and needed a video to endorse the book but I didn't know I was in the book. I did that because we are cool. So it was when the book came out and I knew I was in the book."
