Controversial Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye better known as Speed Darlington has refuted claims of intentions to win a Grammy Award one day.

During an appearance on the 'Curiosity Made Me Ask' show, the controversial musician revealed that he was likely high when he hinted that he would like to win a Grammy Award.

Speed Darlington claims that he was not captivated by the award scheme and that he doesn't see anything worthwhile in it.

When the interviewer, Bae U Barbie questioned Speed Darlington about whether his tracks were banned from Apple Music, he replied that he didn't think Apple Music was worth it. He went on to say that YouTube was far superior to Apple Music.

Speed Darlington urged Nigerians to lower their expectations of the streaming site, saying it hasn't benefitted the nation in any way.
