Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana well known as Falz, has revealed that he has never been in love or expressed the words "I love you" to anyone.

In a candid interview on the Menisms Podcast, Falz shared that he has never reached a level of emotional commitment in his relationships where such declarations occur.

“I’ve never really said ‘I love you’ to anybody,” Falz admitted. “I’ve never been in love; I’ve never gotten to that level of emotional commitment, and they’ve not said it to me either. You know there’s a level in a relationship where it’s like, ‘Oh, I love you, baby, I love you too,’ I’ve never gotten there.”

Falz explained that he prefers to be transparent about his feelings and intentions from the start of a relationship. “I’ve always been upfront about my feelings and commitment early on,” he said. “That way, we’re usually on the same page, and nobody is running off on their own tangent.”

Reflecting on his past, Falz revealed that he has been single since 2008. “My last relationship was in 2008; I was 18 years old. It’s not like I’m running away; it’s just been a rollercoaster of different reasons. I haven’t felt ready yet.”

The rapper concluded by emphasizing his commitment to honesty and guiding principles in his relationships, noting that he remains true to himself and open to revisiting conversations about his emotional readiness.
