Controversial Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie recently revealed why he was able to forgive his late colleague Junior Pope despite the many betrayals he had endured.
As a warning to other Nollywood celebrities who participate in demeaning other people, the contentious actor underlined the value of forgiveness in a society where people are essentially imperfect.
Yul Edochie started a major internet conversation on Tuesday, May 21, when he talked about the betrayals he had experienced from Junior Pope.
He conveyed his dismay at learning that Junior Pope was deliberately betraying him behind his back, as he had thought of him as a brother.
However, Yul Edochie has decided to forgive Junior Pope and move on from the past in a recent post. He conceded that forgiveness is essential, particularly in a world where flaws are common.
Yul Edochie also sent his best wishes to Junior Pope's family, expressing his sincere repentance and resolving the past.
