Nigerian Afrobeats artist, Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has made a heartfelt revelation about his personal journey.
The singer disclosed that he has been sober for three months, marking a significant shift in his lifestyle. In his words, “3 months sober, Glory.”
Victony also reflected on the difficult experiences that have shaped his life, writing, “My troubles stole my youth.”
Back in 2021, Victony was involved in a serious car accident that left one person dead and three others injured. He was confined to a wheelchair for about a year as a result of the incident.
Despite the setback, he rose to fame after releasing the hit song Holy Father featuring Mayorkun, which came shortly after his recovery.
In a recent revelation, Victony shared that he had never been on stage without taking alcohol but is now working on changing that. As he embarks on his Stubborn tour, he aims to experience performances sober and connect more authentically with his fans.
