Nigerian actress and producer, Funke Akindele has recalled how she used to borrow clothes to look good and sophisticated in movies.

The film star, who is currently vacationing in Ghana, shared a video of herself and her friends while talking about her humble beginnings.

According to her, she used to borrow clothes from her colleague, Sikiratu Sindodo, to look good on movie sets.

Funke Akindele also thanked her colleague, Iyabo Ojo for helping her gain feet in the movie industry and also gaining recognition.

Funke Akindele recently made headlines after appearing as number one on the Nigeria Box Office ranking for 2024 as the highest-grossing lead actress with her movie “Everyone Loves Jenifa”.

According to reports shared, Funke’s new movie was worth N1,125 billion.
