'I spent N100k at the supermarket yet my trolley was not full' - Mary Njoku laments

Nollywood actress and CEO of ROK Studios Mary Remmy Njoku is furious over the state of the country's economy.

The mother of three said on her Instagram page that she spent N100,000 on groceries yet her cart was not full.

Mary, appearing bewildered said poverty, in Nigeria is at an all-time high and inquired as to the minimum wage.

The actress continued by asking how the average person was getting ready for Christmas taking into consideration the current harsh economic crisis in the country.

She wrote: “Hmmm. The sapa in Nigeria has gone Pro Max!! Whaaaaaatttt!! How is the average man planning for Christmas? This is crãzy!! I spent 100k at the supermarket and the trolley no full. How is minimum wage?”.

Many expressed their frustrations about the nation's economic predicament in the comments section of her post, saying that they were not expecting anything for Christmas.
