I’m happy to meet Davido - U.S envoy

United States of America’s Consul General, Will Stevens, has expressed his admiration for the Nigerian super star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido.

The singer paid a visit to the Consul Generals’ Office in Lagos to discuss his maiden edition concert, 'Are We African Yet (AWAY)', which is coming up in Atlanta, U.S, on November 18.

Sharing his excitement, the U.S envoy said;

“The United States is glad to be a significant part of Nigeria’s rich musical industry.
Happy to meet Afrobeat superstar @davido earlier today as we talked about Nigeria’s fast growing entertainment industry and how it's a strong pillar of support for the U.S.-Nigeria partnership,” Stevens noted.
