In recent months, popular Nigerian YouTuber and content creator Shank Comics has become considerably more well-known worldwide.
The comedian visited the US to perform in an ESPN charity game after spending some time in the UK.
Prominent live streamers, content creators, YouTubers, social media influencers, and former football players were present at the game.
In the charity match, celebrities like Shank Comics, UTDtrey, Fanum, and Daniel Sturridge participated. A highlight of the game was when the comedian reunited with his close friend Kai Cenat.
Kai Cenat and Shank went live on Instagram shortly after the game, during which Kai declared his love for Nigeria and promised to visit the nation in December.
Reactions to Shank's US visit and reunion with Kai Cenat have been mixed. Some praised the comedian for how he keeps inspiring the youth.
Recall that in March 2024, American YouTuber and online broadcaster Kai Cenat made waves on social media and won over his Nigerian fans when he visited the country.
On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Cenat and his brother Fanum arrived at the airport to be met by the vibrant energy of the Nigerian people with joyful singing and drumming.
In a widely shared video, Cenat's friend Shank, who took him around the vibrant city of Lagos, jokingly named him "Femi Omo Werey."
Cenat tried some of the delicious Nigerian foods as he was eager to experience the culture firsthand.
Shank introduced Cenat to the flavours of 'amala', 'gbegiri', and 'ewedu' at a traditional buka location, and he found himself enjoying the meal.
