Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress Venita Akpofure has bragged that she was famous before joining the reality show.

The reality star insisted that the show had nothing to do with her fame. According to her, both brands supported each other.

Venita made this statement in her debut song, "Gen Z Cypher" featuring Nigerian singer, Magnito.

A line in the song goes: “I made it before Big Brother. No be Biggie help me, we dey help each other. Small girls babbling, I don’t even bother. Dem no get experience, they never cross the border.”

Venita was among the 20 contestants who made it to the fourth season of Big Brother Naija in 2019. She was kicked out on day 41 of the program and became the 11th housemate to be evicted.

She participated in the eighth All Stars season which brought together contestants from past seasons.

The "All Stars" edition premiered on July 13, 2023. The season features 20 former housemates, including CeeC, Pere, Kiddwaya, Mercy, Tbaj, Angel, Neo, Alex, Cross, Seyi, Whitemoney, Uriel, Doyin, Princess, Soma, Ike, Adekunle, Venita, and Ilebaye.
