Singer cum blogger, Samklef has taken a swipe at his colleague Davido for calling him wicked and a clout chaser.

On Friday, October 13, Samklef shared a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma leaving the hospital after the birth of their twins on his Instagram page.

Displeased at the release of the video on social media, Davido immediately took to the comment section to tackle Samklef for sharing the video.

He called Samklef a wicked person and a clout chaser who was aware he was not supposed to share the video of his wife and new born children on social media.

Samklef on his part denied releasing the video first. In fact he said he discovered the video on X (formerly Twitter) and decided to share it on his Instagram page with a congratulatory message.

Shortly after, Samklef announced that the ‘The Stand Strong’ crooner has blocked him on Instagram.

Not pleased by Davido’s choice of words and pained that the singer had blocked him, he shared a video of himself rebuking Davido.

He described the singer as pathetic and childish for blocking him after he disrespected him.

“I’ve never posted anything negative about Davido. You came to my timeline to disrespect me. First and foremost, you and I are not mates. You met me in this industry. We are not mates.

If you’re Davido, you’re Davido for yourself. We are celebrating for your good news. You want to intimidate me. You came to my timeline to say I’m wicked, I’m a clout chaser. Then what are you?

You who is calling someone are you not a clout chaser? What have you been doing all your life? Do you think I’m afraid of you? I give you respect but you don’t respect yourself.

This is good news and we are celebrating you but you came to my timeline to write plenty things and you used your hand to delete them. I sent you a message and as a wise guy and I believe you have to understand.

The fact that you blocked me shows that you’re pathetic and childish. I do not belong to anybody. I do no fear anybody. Loud and clear,” Samklef fumes.
