Senator Ned Nwoko has addressed the domestic violence allegations brought against him by his wife, actress Regina Daniels, and her siblings.
During an appearance on Channels TV, the senator was questioned about the controversy that has kept him in the headlines for days.
The host jokingly remarked that Ned had accomplished many "impossible" things in his life.
Ned responded, "Of course, I have," prompting the host to tease that one such impossibility was successfully managing four wives.
He noted that many people struggle to maintain a relationship with just one partner, and asked whether the senator ever felt any regrets.
Nwoko firmly replied that he has no regrets. Using an analogy, he said:
"Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg. You know how difficult it is, but to stand on two, three, four becomes more balanced."
The conversation then shifted to the viral allegations of domestic abuse. When asked directly if he beats his wives, the senator was quick to deny the claims.
“I am not a violent person,” he said. “I respect my wives, and I love my children.”

“How do you manage 4 wives, it’s incredibly difficult to be with a partner not to talk of 4, and you tend to marry beautiful and young ones too”
