'I’m in love’ – Timini says as he reveals relationship status

Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has finally disclosed his relationship status.

The actor made this revelation when he was featured as a guest on Hawa Magaji's 'Who's In My House'.

Timini stated that words of affection and acts of service are his love languages and he wishes to make himself more available to his partner in the new year.

He said: “My strongest love language is an act of service, and also words of affection because I am a good talker. For me, because I am very busy, it’s not very realistic for me to focus on quality time and I feel like that’s something I am working on. Like I said, this year I want to be a little bit more available so that I can spend quality time with my partner.”

The host inferred, “You have a partner?”

Timini replied, “Yes. Oh my God, I said it! I think I am in love. It’s time for me to start considering marriage. I am not a kid anymore. 40 is knocking on the door.”

He added: “To be a better boyfriend you have to be available. Because no matter how you tried to explain or compensate with material things, there would be really nothing like your presence, you know.”

This will be the first time the actor will speak about his love life after his interview with Buzz Nigeria in 2023. In that interview, he said his focus was on his career and wasn't ready to commit to any relationship.

Timini formerly dated Nigerian model Lydia Agahan Balogun. Lydia was 19 and Timini was 32 when they started dating in 2019.

Their relationship was heavily criticized on social media due to their age gap. On August 16, 2021, Lydia revealed information about the actor on social media which turned the relationship on its head

The model stated that the actor was disloyal, manipulative and frequently pursued relationships with younger women.
