Contentious Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has denied that his facial tattoos are similar to those of his colleague Ahmed Ololade, often known as Asake.
Recall that Asake's Instagram photo on Sunday, January 12, 2025, displaying his new face tattoos, which feature slogans like "Believe" and cash signs, among others, caused a stir.
Because of their facial tattoos, some social media users had compared the "Terminator" crooner's new appearance to Portable's.
Portable took offense at the parallels, saying he more closely resembles American rapper Lil Wayne and not Asake.
After Asake's facial tattoos surfaced, many shared varied reactions as to what could be the possible reason behind the act. Some noted that the singer could have been cloned or he was experiencing a terrible situation in which he wants to use the tattoos to cover the pains.
Speaking in a video message shared via his social media page, Portable said, “Don’t compare me to Asake. I don’t look like Asake. I look like Lil Wayne. Stop comparing me to an overrated artiste."
