Popular social media critic Vincent Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has reacted strongly to reports of Senate president, Godswill Akpabio's medical emergency trip to London.

According to reports, the Senate President was rushed out of the country to London after he collapsed, causing him to miss a key budget session.

In a video shared by VeryDarKMan, he said he wished the Senator well and hoped he survives.

However, he added that if the Senator does not survive the illness, he would not hide his face while mocking his corpse.

VeryDarkMan's comments stemmed from a place of concern, noting that the Senate President, who is vested with authority as the number three person in the country, has the power to help pass bills that could fix Nigeria's healthcare system.

He questioned the fate of the ordinary Nigerians, asking how they'd cope in similar situations when they cannot afford to travel abroad for medical emergemcies.

He also questioned President Tnubu's new tax reforms, asking how the indirect taxes by the government have been and what tangible benefits they have brought to the people, rather than enriching their families and loved ones.
