'I'll expose my son's killer soon' - Mohbad's father vows

Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad has said he knows who killed his son and will make the name public soon.

Recall that Mohbad suddenly passed away on September 12, 2023, in disputed circumstances, and was buried the following day which raised discussions online.

However, a week or so later, the body was dug up for an autopsy in response to a public outcry demanding a full inquiry into the singer's unexpected death.

Even though the autopsy's results are still awaited, Mr. Aloba has openly declared that a close friend or relative is to blame for his son's passing.

He promised to identify his son's killer soon in an audio message that has gone viral on social media.

He said: “I know who killed Mohbad. The person is someone close and I will tell the world soon."
