Celebrated journalist, Chief Dele Momodu was filled with delight after he gave monies to needy Nigerians on social media.

In a post on his social media platforms, Twitter and Instagram, the publisher wrote: "I feel so fulfilled and ready to give most of my income to the poor, expecting nothing but only PRAYERS in return, and will encourage my friends to join me... GOD HELP ME."

He further stated that he now understands what Jesus meant when he told the rich to give to the poor.

His statement comes after some of his beneficiaries tweeted words of gratitude for his good gesture.

Mr. Momodu also used the opportunity to encourage his friends to join him.
