I feel no pressure to deliver because my brother is a top star – Joshua Adere

Singer and Songwriter, Joshua Adere, has revealed that he is under no pressure to deliver as a musician.

According to him, his brother's position as a top star doesn’t put him under pressure to perform like he (his brother) does, although he aspires to be a great artiste.

He made this known during a chitchat with MyNigeria TV journalist, Beatrice Sowah, when he embarked on a visit to Ghana.

Joshua Adere who is the younger brother of Afropop singer, Victor AD, believes his hard work and perseverance will get him to his preferred destination.

“Personally, I feel no pressure at all because having someone, a brother, sister or father in whatever industry, you still have to play your part. It doesn’t change the fact that you still have to work hard,” he said.

The singer had released songs such as ‘Special’, ‘Load My Account’ and ‘Your hand’.

And though he sings the same Afropop like his brother, he also sounds just like his brother, making it difficult to differentiate between his songs and his brother’s.

Before joining the music industry professionally in 2018, Joshua had sung and performed for his colleagues in school.

Upon realizing his talent, he decided to make it a lifestyle and as since never regretted that decision.

He expressed excitement about how far he has come as an artiste, adding that despite the ups and downs he has experienced during his journey; he is proud of how far he has come in the music industry.

“I feel this is the right time. Whenever I started is the right time. It’s how it should be and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve enjoyed every bit of the process. The ups, the downs, the encouragement and the discouragement so I am happy,” he added.
