Fast-rising Nigerian street-hop and Afrobeats artiste Adewale Atanda, popularly known as Rybeena, has expressed deep frustration over the current socio-economic reality in Nigeria, declaring that he has no intention of raising children in the country as it stands.

Speaking during a recent broadcast interview, the "Wise 2.0" hitmaker pointed to systemic failures, socio-economic lag, and widespread mindset issues as primary reasons for his stance.

"I don’t want to have a child in this country. I won’t, never, the way the country is now," Rybeena stated firmly. "We’re far behind among other countries. Even though we have some of the richest people in Africa, we are still far behind. It's messed up."

The rising singer also touched on social attitudes within the country, arguing that prevailing mindsets continue to hinder the progress of Nigerians.

"Nigerians have this mentality that is kind of ‘common’. It’s serious," he added.

Rybeena’s blunt assessment resonates with a growing sentiment among many young Nigerians who frequently cite economic instability, security concerns, and infrastructure deficits as major deterrents to starting families domestically.
