'I don't take Brymo, Samklef seriously' - Simi spills

Nigerian vocalist Simisola Kosoko better known as Simi has finally responded to flirty remarks made about her by producer-turned-blogger Samklef and singer Brymo.

Recall that Brymo caused a stir in 2023 after he acknowledged that he wanted to have sex with Simi while she was single to collaborate with her on a piece of music.

Brymo claimed that after Simi turned down his request, he also declined her request to collaborate with her.

Comparably, contentious producer Samklef recently acknowledged that, back when they were both fledgling artists, he was in love with Simi.

He clarified that he didn't ask Simi out because he didn't want to combine his personal and professional lives.

During a recent interview with Angela Yee, Simi stated that she couldn't take what Brymo and Samklef said about her seriously and that it was pointless.

She claimed to be perplexed by their speech and to find their acts humorous.

She said, “I don’t know what these people [Brymo and Samklef] are going on about. The funny thing is that these are two different people and I don’t know why they keep talking about me like that. When you even look at what they’re saying, you can’t even pick out anything. I’m still confused.

“I just feel like it doesn’t matter to me. It doesn’t change anything. My husband is speaking out for me, he is fighting for his woman as he would. I don’t feel anything about this. It doesn’t impact me. I don’t have anything to hide. If you’re going to post that you asked me out and so what? Or that I had an ex [laughs]. The whole thing to me, is more comedy than anything else.”
