'I didn't go to BBNaija to win' - Phyna reveals motive for contesting

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 'Level Up' winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, often known as Phyna, has admitted that she didn't enter the BBNaija house with the intention of winning the competition.

Speaking during an interview on MyNigeria TV, the reality star revealed that winning the contest was her least intentions.

Phyna claimed that although she didn't expect to win, she wanted to use the show to further her goal for stardom.

She asserted that simply staying in the house for eight to nine weeks, was all she desired.

She said: "My focus after making it to the house to stay there for long. Not that I had the intentions of winning but I just wanted to stay there long maybe until the eight or nieth week or something."

Speaking about her biggest concern in the house, Phyna disclosed that towards the end of the show, she felt threatened by fellow housemate, Hermes.

She said: "The only person I saw as a threat was Hermes and he was in Level 1. I said it, I was like if I were a viewer, and there was nobody like Phyna, I would have voted for Hermes.

"I couldn't believe it when Hermes was evicted because I even mention his name when Big Brother asked me who I was scared of."
