'I didn’t expect it' - Buju reacts to winning Headies award, bentley

Nigerian singer, BNXN formerly known as Buju has finally reacted to winning the 2022 Headies Next Rated award.

Recall that he surpassed singer, Ruger and others to win the prestigious award and walked home with a brand new Bentley BENTAYGA SUV star prize.

According to BNXN, before the event, he bought himself a car as consolation should he lose out.

“I was really stunned [winning a Bentley], mainly because I wasn’t expecting it. I thought it would take me a longer time to get a Bentley. I just got a car before that award show because I didn’t want to be pressured by losing the car [Bentley] or not. So, I had to buy another car separately to compensate myself.

“But when I won I was really stunned. Even when they shipped it and brought it to Lagos, it was another, ‘Wow! It’s right here.’ I was really excited,” he said in an interview with Hip TV.
