Popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma has stated that he is no longer friends with his colleague, Basketmouth.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Bovi disclosed that he and Basketmouth were still cool, but they are not close anymore because it was time for him (Bovi) to focus more on himself and grow his brand.

He said: “There is a limit to how far certain people can take you and the time will come when you will have to get up and break more ground.”

Comparing how close he and Basketmouth were, Bovi concluded that the period was just a phase, and that his priorities changed.
