I commend Joke Silva for supporting Tinubu – Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has applauded veteran actress, Joke Silva for supporting the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

On Monday, October 3, Joke Silva was spotted alongside Foluke Daramola and the APC women's rally in support of Tinubu.

Prior to the rally, Silva was announced as a member of the women’s wing of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council as well as heading the Creative and Entertainment Industry committee of the council.

Taking to their social media page, Silva posted a video with Lagos First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and others dancing and waving brooms, the party’s symbol emblem.

However, the actress received backlash for fans over her decision to support Bola Tinubu.

Reacting to the numerous criticisms, Reno Omokri commended Silva for her decision to support Tinubu.

Although he is a supporter of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Omokri urged her to ignore the naysayers.

He wrote;

“We love you @JokeSilva. Never mind these people. Those that commend you are more than those that condemn you. You have a right to support Tinubu, and though I support Atiku, I can still say that you and Olu Jacobs are a credit to Nigeria. Ignore them and bloom! #TableShaker."
