Popular Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele has recounted her humble beginnings in the Nigeria entertainment industry.

While sharing stories about her early days in her career, Akindele revealed how she borrowed clothes from her colleague, Sikiratu Sindodo, to look good on movie sets.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the actress, Akindele also recalled how screen goddess Iyabo Ojo helped her gain recognition.

Funke recounted how Iyabo Ojo used to buy food for her and drove her in her classy red car.

The box office queen also mentioned some challenges she faced in her career, the rejection and hardship she suffered.
