I believe in miracles because of Rema - Davido reveals

Nigerian Afrobeats singer David Adeleke widely known as Davido has expressed happiness over Rema's developing music career.

The singer stated that Rema's singing career has made him to have faith that miracles do exist.

Davido revealed this in a recent interview with Kiss FM in London, United Kingdom.

The singer recounted how as a small, timid youngster, Rema would visit him at his estate with his record label boss, D'Prince, adding that he is delighted with Rema's development in the music industry.

He said, “I saw Rema in New York two days ago. And I hugged him and I was like ‘I’m so proud of you’. Because I remember like him coming to my house with D’Prince back then. And chilling quiet in my living room. He didn’t say a word, not knowing that he is going to have the highest charting Afrobeats song ever [on Billboard Hot 100] with ‘Calm Down’ with Selena Gomez. That is crazy!”

“You know, he’s just a kid from Benin and then you see that happen, it makes you like believe in miracles.”

Davido satted that Afrobeats gives Nigerians a way out of poverty.

He criticized the government for not doing enough to combat poverty in the country.

On the other hand, he expressed happiness that Nigeria and the African continent were gifted with entertainment that could help to fight poverty.
