Popular Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has revealed how the birth of his daughter fundamentally altered his approach to his acting career, particularly when it comes to performing dangerous film stunts.

Speaking during an interview on the VJ Adams Podcast, the movie star reflected on his transition into fatherhood and how taking on parental responsibility shifted his risk tolerance on movie sets.

Remi admitted that early in his career, he routinely insisted on executing his own action sequences to build a reputation as a daring actor.

"It's different when you become responsible for a human being. Your perspective changes in different aspects," Remi shared. "As an actor, I used to do my own stunts. I used to want to jump off buildings so I can brag that I did my stunts."

However, the actor explained that fatherhood forced him to prioritize his personal safety over professional bragging rights.

"But I have a daughter now. I am not jumping," he stated plainly. "Get a stunt double."

Kunle Remi and his wife, Tiwi, tied the knot in a high-profile wedding ceremony in Ibadan in January 2024, before quietly welcoming their first child, a daughter, in late 2025.
