Singer Seyi Vibez has stated that he almost died after eating food cooked by celebrity chef Hilda Baci, which was offered to him by her husband, Dapper, the owner of Dapper Music record label.
In a post on X, he wrote, "I chop Hilda Baci food one day. Na the same Dapper give me. The food almost kill me."
Meanwhile, singer T.I Blaze has called out Dapper Music, accusing the record label of misappropriating N1.2 billion in revenue generated from music he was involved in.
According to him, the record label licensed intellectual property without the owner's consent.
The singer shared on X that he had to speak up after months of silence when he hoped the situation would be settled amicably.
He wrote, "Fuck Ripper music… Who dey license another person's intellectual property without mutual agreement? Dapper, your cup don finally full.
"How did Virgin Music get into a business where you’re supposed to take 30 per cent and bounce? From whose cut is Virgin taking their bag? … how did 1.2 billion naira go unexplained? Dapper Music come and answer?
"I'm not being dramatic, I waited for this to go amicably. 7months no new drop. You think say I jonze. Me wey dey game pass. Contract expire, you wan dull me keh. The -$185k after over a billion revenue, prove it. Drop my catalogue; I’ll pay it. Nah less."
