'How my former label kidnapped me' – Badboy Timz opens up

Nigerian Singer, Timeleyin Olorunyomi, popularly known as BadBoyTimz, has accused his former record label, Anonymous Music of detaining him illegally.

According to him, it was not an official arrest as he was forced to sleep on the road with police officers on night patrol. This move to him was an abduction.

Speaking during an interview with Cool FM, Badboy Timz said that this experience has affected him negatively and diminished the energy that his fans know him for.

He said;

“I got detained illegally, it was more like a kidnap, it was not an arrest because they could not put me in the cell. I had to sleep on the road with policemen that were on patrol.”

He left Anonymous Music in 2021 after having a dispute with the management and slammed them with a N200M lawsuit for defamation of character. Timz founded his own label, Shock Absorbers Music the same year.
