How I caught a fraudster using my face to scam people - Peter Okoye shares

Talented singer, Peter Okoye of the music duo, Psquare, has shared the moment he red-handedly caught a fraudster using his face on video call to scam people.

In a video he shared online, a fraudster who impersonated the artiste, could be spotted using the singer’s old videos to deceive unsuspecting people.

Peter made a video call with one of the fraudster’s victims, showing his fans how the criminals usually operate.

During the call, the fraudster used an old video recording of Peter Okoye, pretending to be the singer and even saying he had a show to attend in Abuja, not knowing that he had been busted.

The fraudster’s video and speech were not in alignment as he was using the singer’s image.

Peter wrote: “I CAUGHT A FRAUDSTER PRETENDING TO BE ME How people keep falling these Scammers amazes me! Like how? It has been 2 years I stopped anchoring and calling @zoomupyourlife winners!

"They Fraudsters insert my old videos in-front of you and start communicating with you in the background! Pls let’s be guided!”
