Content creator and streamer Carter Efe has credited Afrobeats star Davido for helping him earn the most money of his life in a single livestream.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Cocktails & Takeaways podcast, the creator discussed his streaming career, his relationship with Davido, and the progress of digital content creation in Nigeria.

Carter said Davido’s appearance on one of his livestreams drew a massive audience and significantly boosted his earnings.

According to him, the experience changed his financial status overnight.

"Davido made me the most money of my life on a stream in one night. I became a big boy overnight,” he said.

In December 2025, Davido joined Carter on a Twitch livestream that drew more than 80,000 concurrent viewers.

The collaboration also led to a notable rise in Carter’s followers and subscribers on the platform.

Born Oderhohwo Efe, Carter Efe first gained prominence through comedy and music before transitioning into livestreaming and online entertainment.
