Grammy Award-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy delivered a high-energy halftime performance at the historic NFL Paris game on Sunday, October 25, 2026, marking the National Football League's first-ever regular-season fixture held in France.
Performing at the iconic Stade de France as the Pittsburgh Steelers faced off against the New Orleans Saints, the Afrobeats giant treated the international crowd to a medley of global hits, including "Ye," "On The Low," and "Last Last".
Burna Boy opened his set with "4 Kampe II," his cross-cultural collaboration with French-Haitian singer Joe Dwet File, before inviting acclaimed French singer-songwriter Yseult onto the stage to perform alongside him.
Speaking in an interview with the NFL ahead of the matchup, the Port Harcourt-raised artist described his role as a musical storyteller connecting with global audiences beyond linguistic boundaries.
"That's what music is. That's why I'm not so creative; I'm just like a reporter with melodies and stuff. It doesn't matter where you're from. That's why sometimes I don't even speak English in my music. I sing to see beyond your physical form; it's your spirit I sing to," Burna Boy remarked.
The appearance adds another major sporting milestone to Burna Boy’s international resume, following his performances at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, the 2023 UEFA Champions League final kickoff show, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup halftime show alongside Colombian pop star Shakira.
The venue holds significant historical value for Burna Boy, who became the first African artist to headline and sell out a solo concert at the 80,000-capacity Stade de France in April 2025.
