Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual in 2023, Hilda Baci, has updated fans and supporters as she gears up for her next big feat.

It will be recalled that Hilda Baci announced her plan to cook the largest pot of Nigerian jollof rice on Friday, September 12, 2025.

Upon the announcement, many fans expressed excitement, while others curiously asked how many bags of rice she planned to use and how she intended to manage such a massive pot.

In response, Hilda shared a detailed video walking her fans through a step-by-step breakdown of the requirements and logistics for the challenge.

As the highly anticipated day draws near, the giant cooking pot, originally fabricated in Gbagada, has now been safely transported to Eko Hotel, the official venue for the event.

Sharing the update on Instagram page, she wrote: At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from gbagada where it was fabricated to @ekohotels Eko hotel where the event is taking place I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24hrs"
