Popular singer cum politician Banky W has come under ridicule after the Appeal Court restored Thaddeus Atta, a member of the Labour Party (LP), as the legitimately elected representative for the Eti Osa Federal Constituency in Lagos state.

The National Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal had earlier declared Atta's election victory invalid before the decision was made by the Appeal Court.

The ruling by the Appeal Court represents a major shift in the political landscape as it affirms Atta's original victory and reassigns him to the House of Representatives representing the Eti Osa Federal Constituency.

Since this is Banky W's second electoral defeat, many Nigerians have expressed concern for him and advised him to refocus on his pastoral career instead of politics after hearing the news.
