Mixed reactions have trailed the release of social media influencer and activist Martins Vincent Otse, often known as VeryDarkMan.
The controversial critic started court hearings this morning, and the result has sparked conversations among his followers and well-known blogger Tunde Ednut.
The Nigeria Police Force had previously charged the social media critic with five counts related to cyberstalking.
VeryDarkMan was the target of a police prosecution that sought to have him remanded in prison custody.
VeryDarkMan's attorney, Deji Adeyanju requested his release, but the prosecution requested an extension from Federal High Court Judge Mobolaji Olajuwon, which caused the court to postpone the bail hearing until today, Monday, June 10.
Many people have voiced their opinions after news broke that the social media influencer had regained his freedom. Some were happy that he was at last free, others said that VeryDarkMan would now learn his lesson the hard way and act appropriately.
