Gunmen kill popular content creator, Eboh Gee, another, kidnap others in Enugu

Popular Asaba-based content creator, Eboh George, who is also known as Eboh Gee, has been shot dead by gunmen who attacked him and other travelers in Enugu.

Eboh was a travel vlogger who produced documentaries that highlighted the way of life of people in various regions of the nation.

He reportedly traveled to Benue and Enugu State to shoot a content, and on Tuesday, October 11, he and other travelers were ambushed at the four corners junction along the Enugu-Umuahia Expressway on their way back to Asaba.

Unfortunately, the 30-year-old father of one and another traveler were both shot and killed there and then, while the others were taken hostage.

"He was returning to Asaba after filming content in the states of Benue and Enugu when they were ambushed, he and his friend were in their car," a source who described the tragic incident said.

"The gunmen took his friend and several other travelers but as they were about to drive off, they turned and shot him. He died on the spot.

"They also killed another person who was also in company of a friend, the friend was equally abducted.

"Eboh left his wife and son abroad and moved to Nigeria because he wanted to showcase the beauty of the country to the world through his videos. He will be laid to rest on November 9th.”

Friends have taken to social media to mourn his sudden and unfortunate demise.
