Nigerian singer Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red, has sparked conversations online after claiming his father, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, would drastically improve Nigeria if elected President.

However, the singer admits he actively hopes it never happens due to the immense pressure that comes with the office.

During a recent interview on a podcast, B-Red confidently vouched for his father's leadership abilities and pure intentions.

He stated that their family's long-standing, generational wealth means they are motivated strictly by public service rather than financial gain.

"I know my dad; he has such a good heart. If he does become the president, this country will change. He's going to do everything that people want him to do. You know, we've been rich for a long time, so we're not coming there to steal money, bruh. We're coming there to help people."

When asked directly about the possibility of an actual presidential campaign, he was quick to shut down the idea for his own peace of mind.

"People are talking about it, but I don't want him to be. I don't want no stress on me, I beg. The pressure will be too much," he said.
