Google introduces doodle to appreciate healthcare professionals for two weeks

American multinational technology company, Google has introduced a doodle specifically designed to thank all front-line staff involved in battling the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

The doodle is also dedicated to all coronavirus helpers, inclusive of public health workers and researchers.

The moving ad which is very interactive would continue on all versions of its search engines over the next two weeks.

This Google Doodles series — usually reserved for multi-week sporting events like the Olympics and World Cup — coincides with National Public Health Week in the US.

"Over the next two weeks, our Doodles will honor other essential frontline workers, including healthcare workers, first responders, and the many people keeping services like sanitation, food service, public transit, schools, and more up and running. Thank you to all the people who are working to save lives and keep communities safe during this pandemic," Internet-related firm stated.

Following the outbreak of the global pandemic, Google has leveraged its platforms to provide information and links to health resources.
