'Goodluck to my successor' - Finally, Sonia calls it quit on relationship with Ighalo

Social media users reacted to comments made by Sonia, ex-wife of soccer star, Odion Ighalo after calling it quits on their marriage.

Excerpts of her lengthy post on her Instagram story reads: "Good luck to my successor".

The couple who have been married for 10 years have been in and out of the relationship.

In November 2023, she accused to former Super Eagles striker of sleeping with a Big Brother Naija celebrity and dating a Nigerian actress.

The mother of three, in a post on her Instagram story claimed that she was responsible for the former Watford attacker’s journey to stardom.

Her words: “Tell the world how I changed your life from being Udinese B list player to the person your are today. Tell the World if not ME, you for no smell United Kingdom- WATFORD FC to be precise, (your pathway to stardom). At least your agent is still alive to talk if I lie."
